Kevin Bond

DIRECTOR

Kevin has been a director of the firm since 2016, having previously been a litigation partner at another leading Waikato firm, Harkness Henry.

Over his 20-year legal career, Kevin has gained broad experience in all aspects of civil litigation, including relationship property and trust and estate disputes, but with a particular focus on commercial disputes, including construction disputes and building defect cases, insolvency and the enforcement of leases and mortgages.

For nine years, Kevin was a member (and for a significant portion of that time, the convenor) of a Law Society Standards Committee and as such is particularly well-placed to assist with professional negligence and disciplinary matters whether involving lawyers or other professions.

Kevin understands that litigation is an unpleasant experience for almost everyone. As such, he strives to deal with disputes in the most reasonable, efficient and cost-effective way possible and believes that clear, straightforward and concise communication is the key to making the process as painless as possible for his clients.

Kevin holds a conjoint degree in Law (with First Class Honours) and Science (majoring in Computer Science). He draws upon his IT background to make use of the range of tools available to make modern legal practice more efficient and cost effective.
